It’s believed that The Knicks may try to get past San Antonio’s Dehonte Murray. through a trade or another goal of Murray’s caliber, using the many draft picks they have amassed, even if Rose is increasingly expected to secure Brunson’s signature.

A decision on Danilo Gallinari’s guarantee for the Hawks will be made tomorrow, but the player/team may agree to postpone it. Danilo has a $5 million guarantee – the Hawks may need to guarantee more to match in the trade (let’s say it was Dejonte Murray, Gallo would need $11.6 million *locked) *ATL under tax – 16:04

I’m completely blown away by the idea of the Spurs trading Dejonte Murray for a tank for a potential 28 percent chance of landing either Wembanyama or Henderson. You are not trading young All Stars. You build around them – 15:33

One of my favorite things about Dejonte Murray, who may be going to Atlanta, is that the combination of Trae Young with a frequently used shot-limited point guard actually causes him to start moving away from the ball. – 16:41

John Kravchinski on Timberwolves: I think they had several trade discussions about Dejont Murray, Capel, Rudy Gobert, on many different fronts. I don’t think anything is close right now on that side of the equation. -by using Spotify / June 29, 2022
According to Spurs Talk’s Ellis Ellis, the only player San Antonio really wants from Atlanta is Onyeka Okongwu. Also, while BR’s Jake Fischer reported that the Spurs are looking for three first-rounders in a possible Murray deal, this is also incorrect. Ellis notes that Gregg Popovich’s team will receive at least four unprotected picks in the first round. Rumor has it that the Spurs are looking to trade Murray for three first-round picks. They tell me it’s wrong. San Antonio’s asking price for Murray is four first-round draft picks with little to no defense. As an alternative, the Spurs need three first-round minimum-defended players and two unprotected first-round pick exchanges. -by using Attachment points / June 28, 2022
Interestingly, an insider close to the situation says that the Spurs have several teams besides the Hawks that are actively promoting Murray. One Eastern Conference team is offering three first-round draft picks and a desirable young player as a proposed trade, he said. He also stated that the Minnesota Timberwolves were showing serious interest in Murray.. -by using Attachment points / June 28, 2022
