Loganville (GA) Grayson, four-star defensive end and LSU Michael Dougherty this week was awarded his jersey as part of the All-American Bowl Road to the Dome series.

The All-American Bowl has been the nation’s premier high school sporting event for 20 years and will return to San Antonio, Texas on January 7, 2023, where it will air live on national NBC. Over 20,000 fans flock to the Alamo Dome.
Game alumni including Bryce Young, CJ Stroud, Trevor Lawrence, Keenan Allen, Odell Beckham Jr., Stephon Diggs, Marchon Lattimore, Chase Young, Naji Harris, Mika Parsons, Patrick Petersonderrick Henry, Christian McCaffrey, Ezekiel Elliott as well as Quenton Nelson. Game legends include Adrian Peterson and Joe Thomas.
“Thinking of all the guys Caleb Downes, Kane Lee and all the guys across the country, AJ Harris, it’s great to be around these capable athletes,” Daugherty said.
Dougherty has been with LSU since April, part of the recruiting team that is ranked #4 nationally by the 247Sports Composite.
“Just an exciting staff and the opportunities offered there, from academics to a real school and life around football built, this is one of those opportunities that any athlete can excel at as long as your head is in order,” said Daugherty.
“Watching Bama play and their big comeback has been one of the most intense atmospheres I can see myself in. It’s one of those situations you aspire to be in.”
