On Tuesday, the Tigers joined what is already one of their most talented groups by signing the Maryland offensive line transfer. Mason Lunsford.
A 6-foot-7, 305-pound native from Olney, Maryland, Lunsford spent four years with the Terrapins, playing 26 starts in 29 games. He started all 13 games as a left back as a sophomore in 2021 and made 10 starts in 2022, missing 381 opportunities to block a pass.
LSU returns four of its five starters along the offensive line, including two starters in Miles Frazier And Garret Dellinger. However, the Tigers have lost a lot of their depth to the portal, and the addition of a player like Lunsford has bolstered the group a bit.
He will have two remaining years of the license.
