The TD Garden will be full of stars Wednesday night when the Boston Celtics take on the Dallas Mavericks.

Mavs superstar Luka Doncic set to take on All-Star Tandem C Jason Tatum and Jaylen Brown. It’s almost always an exciting matchup when these two teams face each other, though this time Boston will be looking for different results.

Dallas is on a four-game winning streak against Boston, with two of those wins coming from Doncic. The Celtics will once again have a lot of work to do as they look to contain the NBA MVP leader, but Doncic knows it will be just as difficult to keep Boston’s best players under control.

Before the fight on Wednesday night Doncic shared high praise for Tatum, Brown and C.

“They’re probably the No. 1 team in the league and they probably have the best duo in the league,” Doncic said, according to ESPN. “And we are in the garden – it is always a special game. You must come 100 percent. If you don’t, you will probably lose. It’s a big game.”

Tatum and Brown entered Wednesday as the league’s top scoring duo (55.5 points per game). Tatum goes right behind Doncic. third best odds to win the 2022-2023 NBA MVP award.

Between playing in the NBA Finals last summer and their hot start this season, Doncic admired the Jays from afar.

“I just watch them play,” Doncic said. “I think a lot of people see it. I think how they play. I know people try to separate them, but they fit together, they made it to the final last year, so I think those two are really great players.”

The Cs are looking to bounce back after the Chicago Bulls snapped their nine-game winning streak on Monday. Boston and NBA fans in general are hoping to see Tatum on the court as he plays dubious due to a sprain in the left ankle.

The Celtics-Mavericks game will take place at 7:30 pm ET on NBC Sports Boston.
