Lydia Ko’s outstanding year got better on Monday as she climbed back to number one in the world.

Ko overtook Nelli Korda to take first place in the Rolex rankings for the first time since 2017.

“I am very grateful to be number one in the world again. To be honest, I wasn’t sure if I would ever come back here again,” Koh said in a press release from the LPGA. “This would not have been possible without my family and team, thank you for your faith and love.”
