Police have launched an investigation into allegations that Manchester City and England defender Kyle Walker indecently exposed himself in a bar.
The alleged incident took place on Sunday, the day after Walker played in the Premier League, where City defeated Newcastle 2-0.
On Wednesday, the Sun newspaper released CCTV footage online showing Walker pulling his pants down twice at a bar in Wilmslow, 14 miles south of Manchester.
“On Wednesday, March 8, Cheshire Police became aware of a video circulated on social media in connection with an indecent exposure that allegedly took place in the Wilmslow area,” the police said in a statement.
“The investigation into the incident is at an early stage and no arrests have been made at this time.”
Premier League champions City have so far declined to comment.
Walker has won four Premier League titles among nine major trophies since joining Tottenham in 2017.
The 32-year-old has made 73 appearances for England.
