Two-time UFC bantamweight champion Cruz has proven he’s still in great shape after back-to-back wins over Casey Kenny and Pedro Munhoz, but Chito expects him to be too strong for him tonight.

“I just see it as total destruction,” Faith told MMA Junkie. “How? When? I don’t know what round. What’s the difference. But he will fall, and I will move forward.”

All-time leader of the bantamweight division just finished the main event defeat Rob Font in April and sees himself overtaking other contenders if he can make an impressive statement against Cruz.

“To be honest, since they have already booked all of the top 5 and they are all great fighters, I really feel that whoever gets the best win will jump them all,” Vera said. “Because they all have high stakes. Dominik was the dominant champion, (Jose) Aldo fighting Merab (Dvalishvili), Song Yadong fighting (Corey) Sandhagen.

“So I just feel like whoever puts on the best performance, and depending on who fought who in the past, will get it. I don’t care what happens in any of these fights. I’m just worried about taking Dominic’s head off, kicking his ass, finishing him off, and then see what happens.”
