MINNEAPOLIS. Minnesota forward Parker Fox, a potential frontcourt player, will miss his second straight season with a knee injury.

On Wednesday, the Gophers announced the diagnosis of Fox, who had injured his right knee during a summer practice two days earlier.

Last year, he tore his ACL in his left knee and spent his first season in Minnesota in the red jersey after transferring from Northern State University in South Dakota. This injury occurred before he joined the Gophers, for whom the 6-footer Fox had not yet played.

Fox was an NCAA Division II All-American in his third and final season in the Northern State.
