From earthquakes:

“Stanford University has informed us that the problems they are experiencing on campus this week will prevent the California Clasico from being held on Saturday,” said Earthquakes President Jared Shawley. “We are grateful to Major League Soccer and LA Galaxy for quickly coming to an agreement on a rescheduled date that would allow us to keep this match and all of its spectacle at Stanford Stadium. We look forward to hosting an exciting event for our community in September.”

The Edgewood fire started on Tuesday, triggering local evacuation orders and leaving thousands without power. As of Thursday morning, a 20-acre fire was 90 percent contained.

The Quakes say all match tickets will be rescheduled, but fans will also be eligible for a refund within the next 30 days. More details, including start time and broadcast information, will be announced at a later date.
