Turner’s timing is tied for the fifth-fastest player of all time, and he was the fastest of any quarterback at this year’s NFL training camp.
fast turtles
One of Friday’s biggest takeaways came from the University of Maryland. Cornerbacks Yakorian Bennett and Deonte Banks appear to have become the fastest cornerback teammates in the History of the NFL unification 4.30 and 4.35 times in the 40-yard snatch. They finished second and third behind Turner.
Banks also led all cornerbacks with a 42-inch vert, while Bennett was in fourth with a 40.50-inch. Banks came in second with a long jump of 11’4″ and Bennett was just behind him with a score of 11’1″. If you enjoy looking at sports scores, these two players are for you. LaDainian Tomlinson’s nephew is impressive
Tre’Vius Hodges-Tomlinson is a small player, but you know what they say: you can’t run from DNA. Hall of Famer Runners’ nephew LaDaneian Tomlinson ranked eighth among cornerbacks in the 40-yard dash with a 4.41, tied for sixth in the vertical with a 39″ and sixth in the long jump with a 11’0″. .
Hodges-Tomlinson is CBS Sports’ 18th cornerback in this class, but he’s fast, athletic and can make an impact as a quarterback.

family business
Not only did we have an NFL player’s nephew who worked out great at Lucas Oil Stadium on a Friday night; we also had a son. Joey Porter Jr. didn’t participate in practice on the field, but he completed jumps and rushes for 40 yards after posting great results for one of the best cornerbacks in the class. Here he’s running 40 while his father, five-time All-Pro linebacker Joey Porter, watches over him.

Illini fight dominates
If it wasn’t for the dazzling duo of Maryland cornerbacks Deonte Banks and Jakorian Bennett, we’d be talking about Illinois as the best pair of teammates to practice on Friday night. Jartavius Martin was the headliner, as his 44-inch vertical jump outperformed all defenders, and he complemented this with an 11-foot long jump 1 (first among safes) and a 40-yard dash at 4.46 (third).
However, don’t sleep on teammate Sidney Brown, who finished just behind Martin in the long jump (10’10), jumping 40.5 inches and running 40 in 4.47 seconds.
