Earlier this week, Nick Saban called Alabama Season 2021 is the year of recovery.

Saban’s comments were not received very well as many people saw his comments as an excuse to lose the national title against Georgia. However, his intent was to state that Tide had to make up for much of the lost production and relied on inexperienced players who had not previously had significant playing time to make up for it.

Saban echoed his comments again today, saying, “I don’t think our standard is the same as everyone else’s.”

He flexes his muscles, saying that even his recovery year would be the best season in program history for most teams. He is clearly unhappy that this summer people again refuse to understand his point of view.
