The Oklahoma Sooners have been in the 2024 recruiting cycle multiple times. Last week, the Sooners got a new name in the 2024 runner class; Xavier Robinson.
Robinson plays football at Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, just outside of Oklahoma City. He was 2022 Oklahoman Offensive Player of the Year after he gained 2,600 yards leading Carl Albert to the class 5A state championship.
After his afternoon visit to Norman on March 3, Josh McCusision of SoonerScoop.com and Rivals released FutureCast in favor of the Oklahoma Sooners.
Now 247Sports is adding to the list of predictions, with OUInsder’s Brandon Drumm presenting a crystal ball for the Oklahoma Sooners.
Robinson is a college ready candidate, standing at 6’2″ and weighing 218 pounds. 247Sport. He shows a lot of patience in the backfield, waiting for things to break. Robinson has good lateral maneuverability, fantastic strength and speed, allowing him to run away from defenders.
With multiple predictions from two different sources regarding the hiring of Xavier Robinson, it looks like the Sooners have inside information on the local 2024 prospect.
