Ferndale (Wash.) offensive lineman Landen Hatchet named his top five schools on Thursday.

The top 10 prospect in the Evergreen State named a top five, alphabetically, of Michigan, Oregon, Texas A&M, USC and Washington.

He’s been a standout at every event we’ve seen him this offseason, earning OL MVP honors at the National Preps Champion Showcase and Overall MVP honors at the 5v5 Lineman Competition in Seattle.

Hatchett showed his pristine footwork and technique in the drills and then was dominant in the 1on1s at the Champion Showcase. For a natural center playing in the Wing-T, Hatchett looks like he’s been in pass protection regularly his entire career, that’s how effortless it looked for him in the 1on1s. Every offensive line coach glowed about his motor, his technique and his strength.

And he did it coming from a baseball game, where this season, he set the Ferndale single season home run record.

Hatchett is a three-star in the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings while 247Sports has him as the No. 26 interior offensive line and no. 8 prospect in Washington.
