Rosenquist earned his third career pole with a speed of 125.03 mph and also took first place on the betting charts. It is listed at +360.

To pay off on this line, he will need to earn a second top five at this track. Rosenquist’s best result at Indy Road was fifth at the 2020 Indy Harvest GP. In 2019, he took pole position in this race for Chip Ganassi and finished eighth.

One way to view American odds is to move the decimal point two places to the left. This will let the player know how much they will earn on a $1 bet, so this week’s return on investment for Rosenquist is $3.60. For players who are more comfortable using fractional odds, a bet of +300 corresponds to 3/1.

Also with +360, O’Ward also finished fifth at that track, but he earned it twice in seven starts. One of them happened in last year’s edition of this race after he led the field to the green. O’Ward qualified third in Saturday’s race.

Alexander Rossi and Josef Newgarden have +450 lines each in a tightly clustered top 5, which suggests that PointsBet traders think this will be a wide open affair.

Rossi has two podiums and four top fives in 10 starts. His best second came at the 2020 Harvest GP when he was over 14 seconds behind Newgarden in checkers.

Newgarden would likely have continued his streak of favorites this week had it not been for a crash late in the race last week in Iowa. Newgarden was allowed to train midweek and after re-checking he was approved for any activity, but breaking his schedule is worth a few points to the betting line. Newgarden’s 2020 win is one of three top 5s on this track.

Willpower closes the top five with +540. He started the season with five consecutive top-five finishes on the road circuit that ended with a win at Belle Isle. He has finished 15th or worse in two of his last three road races. However, Power has five victories at this track, the last of which was won in this race last year. This May he was third at the GMR Grand Prix behind Colton Hertha (+1000).
