Peko brothers from Calabasas are showing toughness like NFL father

The Peko brothers, Domata Jr. and Joseph, were able to communicate and learn from their father, Domata senior, quarterback in the NFL for 15 years. They were on the field in NFL stadiums before games, watching and listening and trying to figure out what it takes to be successful.

They are now using these lessons at Calabasas High School, where Domata Jr. is the senior quarterback at 6ft 4in and 210lbs and Joseph is a 6ft 245lb freshman.

Domata Sr., who was born in Whittier and later lived in Samoa, was assistant coach at Calabasas in 2019 until he signed late with the Baltimore Ravens.

Joseph, known in Calabasas as “Baby Peco”, is similarly built as his father, weighing between 6–3,325 pounds.

Being able to see professionals up close helps both boys understand how much hard work and attention it takes to reach the highest level.
