Other changes coming next year include getting rid of the 25 PGA Tour cards exclusive to the KFT Finals and adding top player cards at the end of what next year will be a 26-event season starting in January. until October. The Finals will now count as the last four events of the KFT season, where participants will compete for more wallets and points. For example, the regular season tournaments will feature $1 million purses and 500 points available, while the final events will increase to $1.5 million and 600 points.

With these changes, KFT will increase the number of PGA Tour cards available for the Seasonal Points Race from 25 to 30. It may seem like KFT members are losing out on release, but when you consider that a significant portion of the previous Finals card were actually PGA members Tour, who placed 126-200 in the FedExCup, that number of 30 is in line with what we’ve seen for KFT members every year.

The first-place finisher in each KFT season is exempt from the Players Championship and US Open the following year.

The PGA Tour also awards cards to the top 10 participants in the DP World Tour each season.
