Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid to miss at least 2 games with foot sprain

Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid will miss at least two games with a left midfoot sprain, the team announced on Monday. The status of a five-time participant in the NBA All-Star Game will be re-evaluated in the coming days.

Embiid is averaging 32.3 points (52/27/84 shooting), 10.1 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 1.8 blocks in 35.4 minutes per game this season, cementing his serious status. MVP candidate for the third year in a row.
