On Thursday, Shams Charania from The Athletic reported that there was “confidence” in Ball’s ability to return this season and he was expected to miss “at least a few months”.
On Wednesday, Lonzo underwent arthroscopic debridement of his left knee in hopes of eliminating pain and discomfort. Ball told media on Tuesday that he “can’t run and jump” and that even climbing stairs hurts.
Charania confirmed his initial report that both parties would be monitoring his knee’s response to surgery over the next few weeks and planning rehabilitation accordingly.
