Report: Sheriff’s Deputies enter Joe Mixon’s home after shots fired call, no arrests made

Sheriff’s deputies in Hamilton County, Ohio, entered the home of the fleeing Bengalis. Joe Mixon early on Tuesday morning after a call about “shots” was answered, but no arrests were made.

Fox 19 in Cincinnati reports juvenile has been rushed to hospital with minor injuries.

The report said MPs initially reacted to reports of the shootings around 8:30 p.m. Monday. At night, the police covered the house with tape from the crime scene. Around 11:30 p.m., deputies were seen knocking on Mixon’s door and asking the landlord to come out. At about 1:30 a.m., a law enforcement officer arrived with an envelope with documents, and soon after that, deputies entered the house, who searched with flashlights. The crime scene footage was taken around 3:20 am and the police left without making an arrest.

A month ago, aggravated misdemeanor charges were filed against Mixon, but those charges were dropped the next day.

Mixon, 26, has spent his entire six-year NFL career with the Bengals. Bengals chief of staff Duke Tobin said last week he didn’t know if the Bengals would keep Mixon, who has a $12.8 million contract for the 2023 season.
