FROM Malik Beasley and Patrick Beverly from door to Trade Rudy Gobert, Minnesota Timberwolves needed to add backcourt depth.
So the decision maker Tim Connelly went with someone he trusts and signed Bryn Forbes has signed a one-year contract, according to The Athletic’s John Kravchinski.
Forbes ended last season with the Denver Nuggets, which not surprisingly became Connelly’s general manager. This deal is for a veteran minimum.
Forbes averaged 8.6 points per game, with the Nuggets shooting 41% of 3, close to his career averages. The Timberwolves have added a reliable rotation quarterback and one to help secure a spot on a team that needs this skill.
