Several people familiar with the promotion’s plans confirmed the news to MMA Fighting on Thursday, with deals in place with both athletes.

The fight was originally scheduled for the upcoming UFC San Diego card, but Ladd tested positive for COVID and the fight with McMann was cancelled.

Instead of finding a replacement, the UFC decided to simply reschedule the fight to a later date.

After defeating Karol Rosa in her final outing, McMann will be looking to do it twice in a row when she returns in September as the former UFC title challenger aims to return to the 135-pound rankings.

Meanwhile, Ladd is looking to stop the two-fight drift after she lost back-to-back fights to Norma Dumont and Raquel Pennington, which reduced her record to 1-3 in her last four fights.

The upcoming UFC Vegas 60 card will headline a bantamweight showdown as Corey Sandhagen takes on Son Yadong in a five-round main event.

Mike Heck contributed to this report.
