SEC baseball standings after March 17 games

No. 2 Tennessee (15-4, 0-1 SEC) lost their Southeastern Conference opener on Friday in Missouri (14-3, 1-0 SEC), 9-1.

Friday’s competition is the first in a series of three games.

Originally scheduled for Saturday, Game 2 was postponed due to expected high winds and low temperatures. Vols and Tigers will now play a doubleheader on Sunday. The doubleheader will consist of two games of seven innings and will be available to watch on SEC Network+.

The first game of the Sunday doubleheader is scheduled to start at 2:00 pm EST, with the second game starting approximately 30-45 minutes after the first game ends.
