Serghei Spivac ready for big leap if he gets quick finish of Augusto Sakai

LAS VEGAS – With four victories in his last five fights, Sergey Spivak may be ready to take the leap to the next level.

At the start of his UFC career, Spivak experienced ups and downs, but then went on a three-fight winning streak. In September 2021, this streak was interrupted by the rising Tom Aspinall. But in March, Spivak bounced back and gave Greg Hardy his walking papers, winning UFC 272 by TKO.

Now Spivak (14-3 MMA, 5-3 UFC) thinks he might be ready to jump into the next heavyweight ranks if he scores an impressive victory over Augusto Sakai (15-4-1 MMA, 4-3 UFC). at UFC on ESPN 40, which takes place on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. The map airs on ESPN and airs on ESPN+.
