Sixers to host LeMelo Ball, Hornets in preseason battle in October

The 2022-2023 season for the Philadelphia 76ers continues to draw near, and they will soon have an opportunity to rebound from their second-round elimination from the 2022 playoffs.

The preseason schedule continues to be released in installments ahead of 82 games. The 66ers will play the Brooklyn Nets in a preseason game. October 3rd, and now they know they will host the LaMelo Ball and Charlotte Hornets in October 12th preseason.

Per Rod Boone of The Charlotte Observer who got their hands on the Hornets’ preseason schedule, the game will start at the Wells Fargo Center at 7:00 pm EST. This is Charlotte’s last preseason game.

Assuming this will also be Philadelphia’s last preseason game, it would give the 66ers a chance to take a final look at some of their young players before they have to make final roster decisions. The 2022/23 season will start around 20 October.
