And then there was one.

New England Patriots offensive lineman Cole Strange signed a rookie contract with New England on Wednesday. All that’s left is the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback. Kenny Pickett as the only unsigned first round pick.

That’s not a cause for concern, as the Steelers still have a month before the team travels to St. Vincent College for training camp. Given the way the rookies’ contracts are structured, there isn’t much wiggle room for negotiations.

Receiver Kadarius Toni was number 20 overall last season. The New York Giants signed him to a four-year, fully guaranteed, $13.719 million contract. Since Pickett is the quarterback and the only quarterback selected this round, I’m sure his representatives will try to push the situation as far as possible. No. 19 of the year, offensive lineman Trevor Penning signed a fully guaranteed $14.143 million deal.
