The Chargers had chances to take the lead early on. Instead, they settled for Cameron Dicker’s field goal after reaching San Francisco 29, 7 and 21.

Whatever the case, Los Angeles leads the 49ers 16-10 at halftime on Sunday night football.

Quarterback Chargers Justin Herbert left the game for a concussion check after hitting a helmet on a helmet from Dre Greenlaw in the bout 30 seconds before the end of the half. Officials ruled Greenlaw out of the game.

Chase Daniel replaced Herbert, scored two unfinished matches and took the sack before Dicker hit a 40-yard field goal in the last play of the half.

Jimmy Garoppolo scored on a 1-yard run and completed 9 of 13 passes for 128 yards. Brandon Aiyuk has four catches for 49 yards but lost a fumble, which the Chargers converted to a field goal.

Christian McCaffrey has eight 18-yard rushes and two 18-yard catches, while Deebo Samuel has no catches and one run for 7 yards.
