This is the lowest in the entire league. Next up are the Dallas Cowboys with just over $4 million. Seattle has the highest payroll for professionals at $10.5 million. The Seahawks have the highest paid player in the league – Michael Dixon, and in fifth place – Jason Myers, each of whom earns significantly more than the Lions will pay their entire current quartet.

The low number really stands out because the Lions currently use two kickers. Veteran Austin Seibert sophomore will fight Riley Patterson for a great gig to join long snapper Scott Daly and gambler Jack Fox as Lions specialists.

This year, all four specialists will earn the minimum league for their experience level. No one will earn more than Seibert’s $965,000.

Fox and Daley are among the best players in their positions since 2021. However, longtime lion Matt Prather’s athletic shoes still struggle to fill up.
