There’s just so much going on in the NFL right now. But if you give a Bears fan like me 120 seconds to discuss football after week 9, they will definitely text you about Justin Fields.

PAUL MCCARTNEY: (SINGING) Strawberry fields forever.

ANDY BERENS: And that’s what’s about to happen. You guys know the details of Sunday’s performance against Miami. Fields threw for three touchdowns, he ran for another, setting an NFL single-game record for rushing yards by a quarterback. He scored over 40 fantasy points.

What an athlete, amazing opponent.

ANDY BERENS: And he did it on the day that Aaron Rodgers and the Packers just had their wheels come off. Phew. Phew. Phew. I’m here to tell you, Monday was the perfect day to wake up as a Bears fan. But you didn’t click this video to listen that I’m just a dumbass fanatic. You probably came for some level of fantasy understanding.

Everything you have! Everything you have! Everything you have!

ANDY BERENS: Here you go. Fields is now on pace to rush over 1,100 yards in a season, which is just stupid.

You’re my boy, Blue!

ANDY BERENS: Both he and Lamar Jackson will probably finish in the top 10 of the league in rushing, which is crazy. Chicago has suddenly averaged 31 points per game over the last three weeks after Luke Getsy rethought that Bears offense. Just in case you’re a fantasy manager and you’re wondering if you should sell Fields for a higher price – he’s a noisy quarterback – I’ll just draw your attention to the Bears’ schedule for the rest of the season. Detroit this week.

Atlanta next week.

Those are the two most generous pass defenses in the league. Chicago gets the Lions again in week 17 when the fantasy championships are decided.

Wow, wow, wow, wow. High five.

ANDY BERENS: The most important week of the year in the fantasy calendar, Fields gets Lions. Anyway, right now Justin Fields is expensive. We haven’t seen the last of his QB1 weeks.
