This Tiger Woods backup Scotty Cameron putter sold for nearly $330,000 at auction

Owning part of the Tiger collection comes at a cost. Look no further than when one of his reserve clubs sold for nearly $400,000 a year ago. Now another one of his clubs has been sold for a hefty price.

Woods’ reserve stick from circa 2005 was sold for $328,577 at Golden Age auction.. The stick received 47 bids, with a starting price set at $5,000.

Scotty Cameron’s signed ‘Red Dot’ Newport 2 is the same model as the stick that Woods used to win 14 of his 15 Majors. This stick is said to have been made as a backup for player Woods around 2005. Woods used to check backups to make sure he liked them, but confirming he used them is difficult because he did it in private. by PGA Tour.

This stick, with a Certificate of Authenticity from Scotty Cameron, is said to have been signed by Woods during a 2005 auction for the Tiger Woods Training Center.
