Three Georgia Bulldogs have recently been added to the list. Walter Camp Foundation preseason All-American first team.
It’s not hard to guess the three Bulldogs who have won first-team honors: tight end Brock Bowers, cornerback Keli Ringo and defenseman Jalen Carter.
Both Carter and Ringo are expected to be first overall in the NFL Draft next year and lead Georgia’s 2022 defense along with outside linebacker Nolan Smith.
Bowers will be a sophomore next season, but in 2021 he was by far America’s best tight end.
Ringo, a redshirt sophomore and former five-star recruit from Scottsdale, Arizona, Ringo recorded 34 tackles, two interceptions and a touchdown that would go down in history as arguably the greatest game in Georgia football history.
Focus on professional football recently listed the top ten defensive tackles in the 2023 NFL Draft, with Carter registered No. 1. A junior from Apopka, Florida, Carter is finishing a season in which he recorded 37 tackles, 8.5 for a loss, and three sacks.
Bowers was Georgia’s top offensive weapon last season. On the way to becoming a member Associated Press as well as All-SEC First Team Coaches. His 13 receiving touchdowns is the most in a single UGA season. He was also named SEC Freshman of the Year.
