Tannehill injured his ankle during a Week 7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts and missed out on the Titans’ 17-10 victory over the Texans last Sunday. This week, he was a restricted practice member on Wednesday, missed Thursday, and was restricted again on Friday, according to Titans head coach Mike Wrabel. If Tannehill can’t get away, rookie Malik Willis will be back under the center. A third-round pick, Liberty struggled in his first NFL game, throwing 6 of 10 pass attempts for 55 yards and one interception, while running back star Derrick Henry again led the Titans to victory with 219 yards and two touchdowns. Henry has rushed for over 150 yards in two of his five career games against the Chiefs, but Kansas City currently has the third-best defense in the league, allowing an average of 92 yards per game.

Tannehill averages only 182.8 passing yards and one passing touchdown per game, but he maintains a consistent quarterback presence. Without him, the Tennessee offense really becomes one-dimensional. Perhaps the Titans will decide on Tannehill’s status before Sunday. Friday’s injury report listed him as questionable. Tennessee currently has a five win streak.
