Two Florida Gators in latest CBS Sports’ 2023 1st Round NFL Mock Draft

According to the set CBS Sportswriters, Anthony Richardson as well as Gervon Dexter Both seniors are expected to enter the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

Richardson, a 6-foot-4, 232-pound sophomore quarterback, had the nation talking during the first four weeks of the season. He burst onto the scene with an amazing performance in the Gators’ season-opening victory over Utah. He then went through a loss to Kentucky and a disappointing victory over the USF. Despite the Gators losing the game, Richardson showed his ability in Florida’s 38–33 loss. Tennessee on Saturday.

Dexter Sr. is a 6-foot-6, 312-pound sophomore quarterback who has been one of the Gators’ top fighters this season. Much attention was paid to the 6’5″ lineman, who weighed 415 pounds. Desmond Watson, and for good reason, but Dexter Sr. is one of the leaders of the squad. He is the anchor of the line of defense and has everything you need to reach the professional level.

Josh Edwards of CBS Sports is currently projecting Dexter Sr. to be the 16th overall. Houston Texans and Richardson got into Detroit Lions with pick No. 26. Chris Trapasso expects Richardson to go to Green Bay Packers with lockpick number 29.

Both Dexter Sr. and Richardson will have the opportunity to increase their draft potential during the season. Their next opportunity will be on Saturday when the Gators take on Eastern Washington. Start is scheduled for 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. The game will be streamed on SECN+/ESPN+.
