Luckily for Baltimore, Linderbaum doesn’t have to be out for very long.

“Linderbaum did an MRI, got it back – it’s not serious,” head coach John Harbaugh said at his Friday press conference. “Probably it will at least a weekjust let him calm down. Maybe in two weeks, we’ll see. Of course they will tell me otherwise. But it won’t run through the entire training camp unless something changes, so that’s where we are today.”

Linderbaum was selected 25th overall in this year’s draft from Iowa. He is in line to take over as Baltimore’s starting center spot.

Harbaugh also told reporters that the receiver Rashod Bateman has a nagging injury that is not serious. The Ravens removed Bateman from Friday’s session and could do the same on Saturday, but Harbaugh noted the receiver could practice if necessary.
