UFC 286 — Leon Edwards vs. Kamaru Usman: Fight card, date, odds, location, start time, rumors, complete guide

Kamaru Usman is trespassing into enemy territory to try and wrest his crown from UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards. Their trilogy will headline UFC 286 on Saturday, March 18, the first UFC pay-per-view event in London in six years.

England is hosting a major UFC event for the first time since UFC 204 headlined by hometown hero Michael Bisping when he took on Dan Henderson in Manchester. There are many parallels between the two maps. Edwards and Bisping are unexpected UFC champions who defended the title for the first time on home soil. Where Bisping avenged a previous loss to Henderson, Edwards is looking to take the lead from Usman in their 1-1 series.

This is Gaethje’s first fight since losing to Charles Oliveira for the lightweight title last May. Gaethje has received an amazing 10 post-fight bonuses in as many fights and is CBS Sports Fight of the Year in 2021 and 2017. Fiziev is not far behind, earning five bonuses in seven UFC appearances. Fiziev’s six-fight winning streak, including stops against Rafael dos Anjos, Brad Riddell and Renato Moicano, leads him to the most important fight of his career at UFC 286.
