The undefeated 27-year-old Brazilian who won IBJJF, UAEJJF and CBJJ championships prior to her MMA career, signed with the UFC, according to her manager Brain Butler, of Sucker Punch Entertainment. She has not yet been booked for her debut release.
Amorim (6-0) went on social media release a statement sharing your excitement about the news.

While training with American Top Team, Amorim made her first successful title defense when she promptly introduced Ashley Nichols (4-4) with an armbar in the first round on Friday at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Pryor Lake, Minnesota.
All six of the black belt’s professional victories in Jiu-Jitsu came in the first round. Prior to LFA 142, Amorim withdrew from Dana White’s Contender Series but has now been given a straight path to the UFC thanks to her recent win.
âOf course I want to be a champion one day,â Amorim said. MMA Junkie said in February. âI know that I have a lot of work. I’ve always got it into my head that I’m not going to just go into this sport and be like another fighter. I really want to be a champion one day. That’s what I’m working on right now.”
