Jacqueline Amorim is new to the UFC strawweight division. announced on social media. The UFC has yet to announce a date or opponent for Amorim’s Octagon debut.
The 27-year-old Brazilian joined the promotion less than a week after defending the LFA strawweight title in Minnesota by punching Ashley Nichols with 21 seconds left in the first round.
Amorim has won her six pro MMA fights in less than five minutes, including a 10-second knockout over Megan Owen and a 33-second submission against Taisha Gandhi in her first LFA appearances back in 2021.
“This is the beginning of a dream come true,” Amorim wrote on social media. “Ever since I started BJJ when I was 6 and watched MMA on TV with my dad, I knew I wanted to make it in my life and that day has finally arrived. Thanks to my management team and my coaches, you guys are amazing! We trusted the process and paid off.

In the past, Amorim has won the IBJJF World Championship and the IBJJF World No Gi Championship several times as a blue and purple belt, and has collected silver and bronze medals as a black belt in recent years.
