Nate Diaz has been tweeting back and forth in the UFC for months now. Well, indeed, for years.
It’s been over a year since Diaz lost a decision to future welterweight title contender Leon Edwards. He said that he asked for fights, but did not receive them. And recently, he asked the UFC on social media to arrange a fight for him so that he can complete his contract.
Finally, the UFC was ordered … and given him Khamzat Chimaevarguably one of the strongest opponents, and a fighter that many think will eventually become UFC champion.
The fight received its fair share of criticism, with UFC President Dana White responding that those critics are crazy if they think this is not the fight Diaz wanted.
But was it the right fight for him in what most believe will be his last fight in the UFC before he moves on to somewhere else? That’s what we asked the Spinning Cabal band Brian “Gose” Garcia, Mike Bohn and Nolan King, and Gorgeous host George Garcia.
