Oezdemir — a one-time UFC light heavyweight title contender and currently ranked #11 globally in MMA Fighting — defeated Paul Craig via unanimous decision, ending the submission specialist’s six-fight unbeaten streak. The win lifted Oezdemir’s UFC record to .500 at 6-5. It was his first win since a split decision victory over Aleksandar Rakic in December 2019.

Krylov defeated the three-time UFC title contender in London, taking only 67 seconds to finish Alexander Gustafsson with punches. Shakhtar are now 9-7 inside the octagon.

UFC 280 is headlined by a couple of championship fights. Charles Oliveira will take on Islam Makhachev for the vacant lightweight title in the main event, while Aljamain Sterling will defend his bantamweight title against two-time UFC champion TJ Dillashaw in the co-main event.
