Warriors in Mavericks, 19:30 | TV: TNT

Latest odds:

Golden State Warriors +1

  • Key trend: The Warriors are 4-1 in the ATS in their last five games when their opponent allowed at least 100 points in the previous game.
  • Pick: Warriors -1.5 (-110)

The Warriors, to the surprise of many, have started poorly this season. But of late, Golden State has rebounded strongly, with five wins in its last six games, including the current three-game winning streak. That’s why I’m confident that the Warriors will cover this small number in this place.

The Warriors are still averaging 117.8 points per game, which is good for third place in the NBA behind the Celtics and Kings. In addition, Golden State leads the top three by a 38.2 percent margin (third in the league). During their recent three-game winning streak, the Warriors shot 41.3 percent (59 of 143) from three-pointers, with Stephen Curry practicing at least four triples in each of those bouts.

In addition, the Mavericks are ranked 24th in three-point shot defense. The Warriors will obviously never be afraid to throw a lot of shots from the perimeter, so this definitely bodes well for them on Tuesday.

Clippers to Trail Blazers, 10:00 pm | TV: TNT

Latest odds:

Portland Trail Blazers -4

Pick: Trail Blazers -3.5 (-110): The Clippers will lack star power in this competition. With that in mind, I have no problem riding on the Trail Blazers side.

Kawhi Leonard recently returned to the roster but was ruled out of Tuesday’s game with an ankle injury. Paul George (hamstring) and John Wall (load management) will also be out against the Trail Blazers. Even with George and Wall in the roster, the Clippers are in last place in scoring this season, averaging just 106.4 points per game. The Clippers’ saving grace was their three-pointers (35.8 percent), which is one of the few reasons they have a winning record.

Dynamic quarterback Damian Lillard has only played 11 games this season and is still out of Portalnd’s roster. However, the Trail Blazers relied on the likes of Anferny Simons and Jerami Grant to take over the scoring load in Lillard’s absence. Although the Trail Blazers fell short, they managed to bounce back from their losses (they lost 111–97 to the Nets on Sunday). The Trail Blazers are 11–5 ATS points in their last 16 games when their opponent scored 100 or more points in the previous game.

The Clippers beat the Pacers 114-100 on Sunday, but at least Wall was in this fight.

Key trend: Trail Blazers 5-2 ATS in last seven games against team with winning record

Knicks to Pistons, 7:00 pm | TV: NBA.TV
Pick: Jalen Brunson over 22.5 points (-125)
: Jalen Brunson really bolstered the Knicks’ backcourt offensively. Considering how effective he is at scoring basketball, attacking Brunson’s support is a good move.

Over the past four games, Brunson has scored at least 23 points. The 26-year-old star has scored at least 30 points in each of his last three games, including 34 against the Thunder on Nov. 21. Part of the reason for Brunson’s spike in scoring was his successful shooting. from the perimeter. He’s hit multiple triples in three of his last four games, and landed three clean shots from deep in each of his last two games.

The Pistons are averaging 116.7 points per game this season, 25th in the NBA, so it wouldn’t be surprising if Brunson tops that tally.

Key trend: Brunson has scored at least 23 points in each of his last four games.
