Elimination test is one of the easiest and most fun games of the NFL season. Each week choose one team to win. If that team wins, you move on to the next week. You lose once and you’re out. The only caveat is that you cannot select the same command twice.
While it sounds simple, having the perfect season is always harder than it sounds. The key is to find a good balance between picking winners while also leaving quality options open for the coming weeks.
Compared to previous weeks, week five looks a lot easier on paper. Six teams receive at least a touchdown after a total of nine have played together in the first four weeks. That includes the Buffalo Bills, who scored 14 points to the Pittsburgh Steelers, their biggest lead this season.
However, each of the three most popular favorites has many more useful weeks to come. Other options aside, the Bills have two more games left against the Jets, while the Packers and Buccaneers are by far the top two favorites next week. As a result, my top choice for large groups is Jacksonville, which combines high odds of winning with low future value. For smaller bands who may have to play the full 18 weeks, Bills is the best bet.
