Several high-profile offensive linemen and a couple of fast-growing, fast runners are leading the series of ranking updates this week. Prospects from Texas, Georgia, Louisiana and Oklahoma are included in the following breakdown, which begins with the aforementioned four-star offensive line rookie who could potentially play multiple positions.
Jadon Chatman, IOL

We preview our ads new four star rating 90 Jadon Chatman from Killeen (TX) Harker Heights with the recognition that he may well remain in attack in the long run. Having said that, we really like his advantage as an all-around offensive lineman who could potentially become an NFL draft pick on defense. The 6ft 4in 300lb has a long reach that gives him enough length (+4 wingspan to height) to help him regardless of alignment. Candidate for Top247 in the near future, Chatman’s on-field context is encouraging, as physical presence in the game accompanies strong data from several sports, including a 48-foot 6 1/2-inch shot put throw, one of at least five of more than 47 feet. This power and strength are manifested on the field. Chatman checks several drawers, which is why we like him as a boner.
Mikel Dingle Jr., LB – Texas Tech Commitment
Duncan (SC) Byrnes is an outstanding player Mikel Dingle Jr. joined the Texas Tech 2023 sports class this week and gives the Red Raiders another multi-sport prospect with an intriguing long-term outlook. A legitimate 6ft 1in, 215 lbs with a 6ft 5in wingspan, Dingle’s profile as a modern off-the-ball linebacker is promising. Not only does he own the physical stats for the designation, his limited sprint data includes 10.92-second 100m and 200m times of 22.05 and 22.41. He is also the reigning Class 5A South Carolina State Champion in the 110m hurdles (personal best 13.56) and has also jumped 23ft 1in in the long jump. Debuts as high three star 88 and top 40 linebackers at 247Sports, Dingle’s potential is clear to us, and Texas Tech is once again to be commended for bringing in yet another impressive athlete.
Jambres Dubar, RB – Boise State Commitment

Debuts as high three stars 88 at 247Sports is Oak legs, a production of a play returning from Anna High School (Texas). Dubar, who traveled to Boise State this week, has an excellent course profile that includes this spring’s 100m times of 10.63, 10.73, 10.75, 10.81 and 10.84, giving him a stunning sports context. This speed helps his powerful shot into the net, where Dubar can hit a long pass with a pass or catch the ball out of bounds. Last fall, he ran for 1,193 yards and 13 touchdowns for 7.1 yards per carry when he added 29 catches for 236 yards and three points. Dubar wields some deceptively good physical tools, including a frame of about 6 feet, 190 pounds plus length. As 247Sporty four-star Ashton Jeanty was in the class of 2022, Dubar is a great gift for the Broncos.
Brandon High, RB

Another developing runner with excellent track data, Brandon High — new tall three-star 88 at 247Sports – Provided big game after big game for Conroe (Texas) Grand Oaks north of Houston in Fall 2021. High rushed for 1,085 yards and 15 touchdowns for 7.98 yards per carry in 2021 when he added 10 catches for 175 yards and two points. Hai has a prototype running back at 5ft 10in and 205lbs, and his 100m times of 10.67, 10.94 and 10.96 in the spring make him especially intriguing to push forward. This combination of attributes, not to mention his streak, which certainly proves to be true, makes Hai the type of prospect to keep a close eye on this fall as a prospective realtor. Kansas, Colorado, and Colorado State are among the few FBS programs offered by High that should certainly get more attention in the near future.
Nick Poor, IOL
League City (TX) Clear Springs Nick Poore provides a set of tools that can provide versatility in the offensive line, and the compositional value that accompanies this trait. In 2021, 6’4″ and 275 pounds are a lot of left tackle snaps, and while his large wingspan and functional athleticism could take him to the next level in OT, Fattig could easily transition into a defensive role where his length and quickness could separate him from others. Fattig demonstrates an inspiring conviction that playing on the run fits into a great multi-sport context, including 48-5 shot put, 143-7 discus throw and high-level powerlifting – Fattig recently pulled up 335 pounds. He debuts as high three stars 88 at 247Sports. Texas Institute of Technology received the first 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction, while programs such as North Texas, Tulane, UNLV, and UTSA also offered Fattig.
Sean Tompkins, IOL

Covington (Georgia) Newton, offensive linesman Sean Tompkins brings a sturdy physique and the irresistible strength of a telephone booth. At 6’4″ and 330 pounds, Tompkins played in several different places as a junior, including tackle and defenseman. Tompkins, who will debut as high three stars 88 at 247Sports — acquired valuable bilateral experience in the second year. These defensive snaps have shown a arguably more consistent kickoff than his attacking reps, but given his massive bulk, Tompkins performs well as a strong defender in the long run. Shares of Tompkins, who also played basketball, have surged in recent weeks. He reportedly made official visits to Baylor, Kentucky and Florida this month.
Ashton stamps, CB

Methary (Louisiana) Archbishop Rummel Ashton stamps emerged as a potentially versatile defensive system in the New Orleans metro area. Stamps has grown in hype recently due to a series of reportedly strong performances at several LSU camps. His youth record is also intriguing due to his ability to play in multiple positions in a variety of conditions, whether in the press, off the field or playing overhead as a center field-style defender where he displays an impressive range. Stamps, who will debut as high three stars 87 at 247Sports, plays with awareness and appears to be able to turn and locate the ball when it is flanked. LSU, Missouri, Nebraska, Tulane and UTSA offered stamps. Bayou Bengals received the first pair of 247Sports Crystal Ball predictions.
Pitcher Anderson, DL

Anderson PitcherHis physique and athleticism, both functional and proven, make him a particularly intriguing quarterback in the class of 2023. At over 6ft 2in and weighing around 260lbs, Anderson is above average height (wingspan +4) and has some explosive test scores in events such as the shuttle, vertical jump and long jump. He also demonstrated this explosive power in the throws, posting several 140+ discs (146-8 SDs) and several 40+ reps in the shot put (43-9 SDs). Anderson’s initial start reflects that explosion and power, while his engine also helps him play. In 18 games over the last two seasons, Anderson registered 32 1/2 tackles for a loss and 13.5 sacks ahead of the Texas Class 6A contest at Cypress Park on the Houston Metro. Diesel Gordon, CB – Washington Commits
Washington’s New Promise Diesel Gordon provides some predictive markers indicating development potential in the next few years. At 5’11” and 170 pounds, Gordon played extensive two-way snaps for Arlington (TX) Seguin in 2021, where he showed promising functional athleticism and speed on the field from the receiver and cornerback. He also competed in track and field, running 52.72400 and high jumping 5 feet 10 inches. Gordon’s on-field athleticism seems to be better than these numbers suggest, and enough two-way experience should help his awareness, instincts, and ball skills. He debuts as strong three-star 86 at 247Sportswhich considers it in about the top 150…
