Denver Nuggets PG Jamal Murray lost three three-pointers in a rather stunning loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, and while it shouldn’t be too shocking as it used to happen regularly, this was the first time he’d done it in this young season.

Murray has looked a bit rusty so far, and understandably so, but on Sunday he scored a season-high 21 points for a season-best 21 field goal attempts. Remember, Murray missed all of last season recovering from an ACL tear. In the 2020/21 season, he averaged 21.2 points per game, 4.8 assists and 2.7 three-pointers. Are we all just assuming we’ll get it again? Hm.
