On Monday, the Badgers offered Gatlin Baer, a four-star wide receiver from Burley, Idaho. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound athlete has one more season of high school football at Burley High School before he could potentially go to college as a member of their class of 2024.
Bair is a multi-sport athlete who played basketball and ran track and field, in the latter of which he posted some impressive results, namely the 10.53-second 100-meter dash at the 11th U.S. Youth Olympic Track and Field Championships in July .
Wide receiver now got 22 Division 1 proposals, including power plants such as Michigan and Texas. With Luke Fickell and Phil Longo at the helm on offense, Wisconsin is more likely than ever to land a talent like Baer.
Four-star quarterback Mabry Mettauer (Woodlands, Texas) is already locked up for 2024, so the Badgers would certainly like to add another speedster to their offense.
