France and Denmark are expected to slip into the Round of 16 as the defending champions have Karim Benzema this time round to bolster their attacking group. As for Denmark, they showed their qualities to reach the semi-finals of UEFA EURO 2020 and did well in qualifying in Europe.

Denmark also recently beat France in the UEFA Nations League and will play them shortly before this World Cup as the two teams know each other very well and both can go far in Qatar.

The Aussies hate to play and will sit back, frustrate opponents and look dangerous on the counter. As for Tunisia, they did well last time in the AFCON tournament (reached the quarter-finals), but they look like the weakest of the teams in this group.

A resurgent Leicester City will host Manchester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday as the latter could momentarily top the Premier League table.

Brendan Rodgers’ side have picked up three wins in their last five games to get the season back on track, as back-to-back wins last week took the pressure off the Foxes a lot.

Manchester City drew 0-0 with Borussia Dortmund midweek in the UEFA Champions League as their round of 16 qualification was secured and they now top the group. In the Premier League, they edged out Brighton last week, reacting well to their first loss of the season, which came in a big loss to Liverpool.

Key storylines

The Foxes look much better defensively and have recorded three strikeouts in a row and four in their last five games. In the future, they were ruthless: James Maddison, Jamie Vardy, Harvey Barnes and Urey Tielemans returned to their best qualities. Daniel Amarty and Wout Faes develop a strong partnership in the centre-back position.

Manchester City are two points behind leaders Arsenal and a victory early in Saturday’s game will lift them to the top of the table. Pep Guardiola’s team conceded another mid-week penalty when they drew against Dortmund and Ederson must be enjoying his chance to finally take the lead and take the penalty…

Uniform players to keep an eye on

Leicester’s James Maddison is in great form and Youri Tielemans looks focused, insightful and his quality is undeniable. Defensively, Wout Faes looks like one of the signings of the season, which is handy because he was Leicester’s only signing after a summer of austerity. Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne looks commanding, while Rodri is the heart of the team and Joao Cancelo is putting on a phenomenal campaign. City’s only weakness is penalties.

Leicester team news, injuries, squad options

The Foxes are still without defensemen Ricardo Pereira and Ryan Bertrand, but their injury problems are finally easing, with Johnny Evans and Wilfred Ndidi close to returning. After two superb wins last week, Brendan Rodgers is unlikely to change this team.

Manchester City team news, injuries, squad options

John Stones and Kyle Walker remain on the sidelines, while Erling Haaland is questionable. He was taken off the field at half-time in Dortmund due to not feeling well and also being hit on the leg. If Haaland is out, Julián Alvarez can start. And if Haaland leaves the game, the PL Fantasy managers will be screaming everywhere, mixed with rage and desperation.

The 2022-23 Premier League fixtures are in the spotlight as the new season has already brought so much drama.
